A few things from Chicago

02/04/2007 now has triple significance:

1. ERB is baptized. God bless her. Peace be with you.
2. Ryan turns 31. Good job on staying alive for 31 years.
3. The Chicago Bears play in the Superbowl. God bless America.

Here's a short recap/tribute of the most entertaining football game ever. Hester's late runback is the greatest thing I've ever seen.

Also - as daddy mentioned in the previous post, I have now seen The Godfather parts 1 and 2. While I liked the original better, I was really impressed with how they cut back and forth between Vito's coming to America and rise to power and Michael's current struggle with power. Michael ain't no Vito and mostly I found myself ashamed of him. The poor Corleone family. And by the way - I hope Ryan doesn't someday decide to take me out on a fishing boat.

Finally, because this is a blog for ERB, here is a Christmas break outtake and a gift that we will be bringing her for the Superbowl on 02/04...

If you bring that Bears garb into my house, I certainly will take you out on a fishing boat. ERB will be raised a Lions fan.

I thought the Lions weren't to be mentioned here on the blog.

She's wearing something blue and orange on gameday. Oh yes...

The season is over. We can talk Leos all day long. The draft is coming up and Emerson is wondering how the Motor City Kitties will screw it up this year.
PS-R U staying in GR for Superbol?

The most entertaining game? You could not possibly be refering to the Bears game. That was there last win of the season.

Ohhhhh, an early prediction from the Butternut Gang. This prediction also comes from the guy who now hates football. Take it for what it's worth.

It is boring. Espically when the cubs play.

I don't even know what MBB is talking about. This is the Bears/Cardinals Monday Night game from mid-season. Great game. Glad it went Chicago's way.

I'm confused about both of your remarks. Cubs, Cards. Starting to sound like baseball talk.

A baby bear is a cub. I was implying that the colts will make the bears or "cubs" look like children.

Wow, what a wordsmith you are.

Yeah, good one - I feel totally schooled right now.

Couple things:

1. I just went back and read MBB's comments - he obviously didn't watch the video. Again - it's Arizona/Bears (or Cubs in crazyland) from Monday night.

2. You would say it's "their" last game. Check the grammer buddy.

What does any of this have to do with the Bears/Cards????!!! I watched the Bears/SAINTS game!! You two deserve each other!

No, I did not, football is boring. And I did make a mistake, however the context clues allows anyone with a shed of common sense to understand what is coming down the pipe from "crazyland". Now you have been served!

I put up that video because I thought it was a funny recap and super-duper Bears awesomeness. And I love the season of watching the Bears almost lose 100 times. Trust me - I looked for a whole NFC Champs recap but could not find it.

I definitely deserve MBB, but he does not deserve me.

This has got to be the most interesting convo I have ever taken part in on this site. A few things for both of yous:

Phiul-Why would you post a video of a highlight from mid season in a meaningless game? Put up a video of Urlacher hoisting the trophy or something. Make the video RELEVENT.

Also-What the hell does this mean "I definitely deserve mbb, but he does not deserve me."

mbb-"No, I did not, football is boring. And I did make a mistake, however the context clues allows anyone with a shed of common sense to understand what is coming down the pipe from "crazyland". Now you have been served!

I do not understand any of this. "Context clues, crazyland, shed of common sense"? This definately sounds like the rants of someone who just got there (in mbb's world) THEIR (in everyone elses) masters degree, and is trying to say something intelligent.

You both have been served.

But it was fun!

Yes, it was.

I put up highlights from the mid-season game because I thought it was a great celebration of the team and a VERY entertaining game.

As I said - there (their if you're MBB) is not a good You Tube recap of the season with Urlacher hoisting the trophy. Trust me - I tried. And then I tried again the next night. Some kid hasn't put one together yet. When he does, I'll make sure it makes here to this blog for yous to enjoy.
