I've been authorized to make an announcement about the addition of baby girl Byers!
Emerson Rae Byers was born around 6:30AM on November 20. She is 7lbs, 12ozs and 20 inches long. (A good-sized kid. But between you and me I thought she would have been about 14lbs after cooking for 10 extra days.) As of this morning Ryan and Tara sound exausted but healthy. And they're probably looking forward to some sleep with their new daughter.

Two of the most blessed parents in the world. Emerson is beyond being adorable, more than what we imaged she could be. Be sure and send more pictures, like right away. Ask if she would mind if you could take her hat off for a picture so we can see her hair.
